Week 7: October 7th - October 11th
Monday October 7th: Students will partake in a "Virtual Lab" in which they will explore topography and its importance within the Hydrosphere, particularly related to the movement of water. Students will then practice their topography skills via an independent practice.
Tuesday October 8th: Students will be introduced to the concept of bioindicators, and the role the macroinvertebrates have within the Hydrosphere. Whole group notes will be provided, alongside a skeleton outline for students to fill in. Wednesday October 9th: No School, Teacher Workday Thursday October 10th: Students will be introduced to the concept of Eutrophication, understanding such by recognizing the role nitrates and phosphates play within the growth of the algae blooms. To better understand such, students will be led through whole group notes via a skeleton outline Friday October 11th: Students will be introduced to the concept of Eutrophication, understanding such by recognizing the role nitrates and phosphates play within the growth of the algae blooms.
